Shopping In Landan Town... Pregnant!

Me and Sam went shopping in LANDAN TOWN today, and oh my God it killed me!

Shopping in London is usually my absolute fave! I could troop around for hours and hours going all over the place, from tube station to tube station without a care in the world. But now I'm pregnant I literally couldn't handle life ha ha.

We started off in Covent Gardens where we met my cousin for lunch, and it was so nice! I was all full of energy, looking forward to the day ahead ha ha. I treated myself to a new phone cover from Urban Outfitters because the one I had before was literally falling to pieces, and then we headed to Camden! One of my favourite places ever.

It was all going swimmingly at this point, and I LOVE the coolness of Camden so much :-)

However I didn't really have my shopping cap on and nothing seemed to catch my eye, apart from these trainers:

I kept seeing them everywhere, but at an eye-popping £94.99 (here from Office) I couldn't decide if they were worth the money or not! I've wanted some Nike Air Max trainers for a good few months now so I knew it wasn't an impulse buy, and these ones are just sooooo amazing! I keep picturing all the outfits I could wear them with ha ha. But I decided to hold out for the time being and off we went to Oxford Street.

(cardigan: Primark, dress and necklace: Topshop, trainers: Ebay, bag: Oasis)

(that guy behind me is giving me a real evil-eye because I apparently bumped into him ha ha, I didn't even notice! Look at him staring at me!! Caught on camera evil man)

And in Oxford Street is where the nightmare began! By this point my feet had started to tingle but I thought I could handle it and keep on trooping. But it turns out I could not.

I've never felt pain like it! I don't know whether it's because of the extra weight from a human baby, placenta and general fat-ness in my belly, but oh my Goooood my feet hate me now. The feet pain spread all the way up though my legs to my tummy until I felt like I was going to pass out ha ha ha (good luck to me in labour), but all this happened just as I decided I definitely wanted the trainers. Classic me! Always difficult :-)

So me and Sam kept on going to try and find them in Oxford Street, which was so much more difficult than in Camden! We eventually found them and I ran over, to find that they'd sold out in my size ha ha.

We were forced to give up and retreat home, and now I can't make up my mind whether this is the trainer God telling me not to spend that much money, or if I should definitely, 100% order them online right this second?

Please help me and let me know what you think!

But overall I have discovered I seriously can't handle more than two hours shopping at a time - how devastating! The only positive is that it might help to curb my spending addiction :-) but then there is always online...

See you soon!!

  1. This is exactly why online shopping was invented!! you cold order the shoes, style them with everything, then decide if they're worth it :)
